What is a Joke Teller?

A joke teller is an easy folder paper craft that kids love.  You may remember folding fortune tellers or cootie catchers in elementary school. My friends and I used to make them out of with notebook paper in elementary school to “predict” our futures.

I wanted to share cootie catchers with my kiddos so I turned the fortune tellers I loved as a kid into Easter joke tellers by replacing the fortunes with kid appropriate Easter jokes. (Each flap contains a silly joke that elementary school kids love.)

Paper joke tellers are perfect for classroom parties, a silly activity at home, or even a special lunch box treat.

Learn How to Make a Easter Joke Teller

This free printable project  is even easier than the fortune tellers you made as a kid. Get and emailed copy of the PDF  here then save it to your computer, print, fold, and enjoy! The whole project takes less than 5 minutes to complete.

Tip: Print on matte photo paper for extra bright colors, or lightweight card stock to make the joke teller extra sturdy.

BLACK AND WHITE VERSION TO COLOR

Joke tellers are popular with teachers and room parents who don’t always have access (or the budget) for color copies. The black and white version can be printed for kids to color and fold. It contains the same fun jokes and graphics!
