Gift bows can cost more than $2.00 and are usually made from cheap plastic ribbons. There is no need to waste money or create more plastic waste this holiday season. Use my simple pattern to create bows from scraps of felt, fleece, or paper.
These bows are easy to make and can be used over and over again. Plus, they add a custom, high-end touch to all your presents, no more frayed plastic ribbon!
How to Make Christmas Bows
1.Download and print the PDF bow pattern.
2. Cut out the pattern pieces, then place on fabric and trace around each piece. Cut out bow pieces.
3. Fold each bow loop end into the center and attach securely with hot glue.
4. Glue the bow to the bow tail piece with a dot of hot glue in the center of the bow tail.
5. Secure the center wrap around the bow and attach at the back with a dot of hot glue.
6. Enjoy your bow!
Each felt bow costs approximately $0.12 to make and can be used over and over again without fraying or ripping.
Tip: You can attach a clip to the back of the bow with hot glue and use it as a barrette!
