For the Love of Elves
At Christmas time I love all things red, green and elf related. There is something so sweet and fun about those jolly little workers decked out in jingle bells.
The 2003 movie Elf with Will Ferrell is my favorite holiday movie. I force my family to watch the tale of Buddy (the human who thinks he’s an elf) several times each December. I crack up when he announces to his toy department coworker, “It’s just nice to meet another human that shares my affinity for elf culture.”
Darling Elf Houses
I also adore the tiny, magical elf villages depicted in movies such as The Santa Clause and The Polar Express. In fact I own a whole Department 56 Village from the North Pole Series that is inhabited by elves. The tiny buildings with intricate decorations are so enchanting!
This Christmas I decided to share my affinity for elf culture with you! I designed a set of tiny elf house treat boxes that you can use to deliver tiny gifts, holiday candy, or a few cookies to a special someone. My kids love using them to “elf” the neighbors with surprise treats.
The tiny homes come in four different patterns. Each green and red home is decorated with tiny stockings, little Christmas trees and candy cane hearts. Print one or use all four to create your own elf village.
